An album is a collection of photos and videos that you create yourself. Albums make it easy to organise your content and share special moments with friends and family.
One of the biggest advantages of albums is that they can be shared using a link.
How album sharing works
When you share an album, Jottacloud generates an open URL.
Anyone who has access to this link can view the album. You control whether people with the link are only allowed to view the album or also add their own photos and videos.
Why share an album?
Sharing an album allows others to view your photos in one place, subscribe to updates, and, if you permit it, contribute their own content. This is ideal for family events, trips, or shared memories.
How to share an album
Go to Collections in Jottacloud.
Open the album you want to share.
Click the Share button at the top of the album.
Enable Turn on album sharing.
(Optional) Enable so that Anyone can add photos to allow others to contribute.
Copy the URL using the Copy button and share the link.
Anyone with the link can access the album. No login is required unless they want to add content.
Manage sharing
You can disable album sharing at any time to deactivate the link. Once sharing is turned off, the URL will no longer work.
