Backing Up Photos, Videos and Contacts
Photos and Videos
Our mobile app can automatically back up all your photos and videos. All photos and videos will be sorted in a timeline.
During setup, we will ask if you want to enable automatic backup. If you did not enable it initially, you can turn it on later in our app's settings.
Remember, iOS and Android have background restrictions, so open the app periodically to ensure backups complete. We'll notify you if there's an interruption in the backup process.
Backup Tips for Photos and Videos
For a smooth backup experience, keep the app open, connect to a WiFi network, and connect your phone to a charger during the initial backup.
Live Photos: Our mobile app supports backing up Live Photos, preserving the motion and sound captured by iOS devices.

Photos
Photos shows a timeline on all backed up photos and videos. The photo timeline has three main screen layouts. Photos, Albums and Places. The default view is Photos.
Photos and videos in the timeline are organized by time. The latest photo is on top. The oldest photo is at the bottom. To display older photos, simply swipe down the screen to scroll down
The photo timeline is also available on our web page, which means you can add photos and videos to the photo timeline via the web page. This way you have ALL your photos and videos available wherever you go.
Note that the Photo Timeline also will include photos you have uploaded to other places in our Cloud, like Arichve or Backups. You can learn more about our Photo Timeline here!
How do I know if a photo has been backed up?
When our mobile app discovers a photo or video that has not been backed up, it displays a small badge to illustrate it is not stored in the cloud. Photos without badges have been successfully backed.
During backup, a spinning synchronize badge is displayed. Once the file has been safely backed up, this badge is removed.
What can I do with photos and videos in the timeline?
Share selected photos and/or videos
Add the selected photos and/or videos to an album
Delete selected photos and/or videos
Hide selected photos and/or videos
