Open up your preferred web-browser (e.g. Safari, Chrome, Opera, Mozilla Firefox, Vivaldi etc.)

Log in to your account

Click your profile icon and select "Install"

Select MacOS

The file will start to download, and be saved in "Downloads" locally.

When the download is finished, either press the arrow on the downloaded file in the browser and choose "Open" or navigate to the "Downloads" folder and open the file from there.

Move our cloud icon into the "Applications" folder as the window states.

Open the desktop application from the "Applications" folder in Finder.

Press "Get started" and log in.

After logging in, read the information and press "Got it" to proceed.

Select the folders you want to back up. You can also specify the device name.

We suggest some default folders to back up, you can choose more folders later.

Upon pressing "Next", read the information and press "Got it" to proceed.

In the next window, you choose whether the device should be synchronized, (read more about synchronization here). You also edit this later.

By default, the Sync folder is placed under "Favorites" in the Finder, but you can choose a different location.
​

After pressing "Start", you'll see the program-hub. You'll have a full overview of all folders in backup from this unit in the "Backup" tab.

Under "Transfers" you can see which files are being uploaded/downloaded, and under "Restore" you can navigate and restore any file or folder from your cloud account:
